Innovative Inspirations on Abstraction
Curated by Marcia Odle-McNair
For over a century, artists have explored multiple techniques and approaches to create unique and universal abstract works of art. These works display a departure from reality. Modern artists have stretched the boundaries of what was thought to be artistically
possible to create a new way to think about design, composition, visual elements and color.
We have invited artists to submit dynamic works of art that explore harmony, gesture and form. Their inspirations are expressed through geometric shapes, organic forms or digital manipulations that are critiqued on an emotional, meditative or conceptual level. The works presented below are only some of the fine works in this exhibition. To see the full exhibition, please visit Westbury Arts during gallery hours.
