Ren is a fire alarm systems design professional by day and an amateur photographer by night. He graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with a B.F.A. in Interior Design and is marking his 18th year as Project Manager for Lowitt Alarms & Security Systems. Having grown up in Westbury, Ren is committed to all things that better our community. 

Moving back to Westbury as a single dad of three, Ren became an integral part of the Westbury Schools Parent Teacher Associations, serving on the Executive Board of the Middle School and High School PTSA units, and serving on the Executive Board of the Westbury Council of PTAs for a decade, including two stints as Council President. Ren also served on the board of the Westbury Hispanic United Association for 5 years and is still actively involved with the organization.
